Capt. Charlie is widely renowned for his fishing expertise and has been the subject of many outdoor and recreational news publications, including Texas Fish & Game, Gulf Coast Connections, and the Houston Chronicle. He has taken place in many pro guide events and won numerous Texas Gulf Coast fishing tournaments, most recently the 2007 Matagorda Guides Cup Tournament.
